extensive encyclopedia of plants in the Medicinal Plant
section of the CD-ROM – for those more experienced in
the ways of Ayurveda. It also caters to the novice user,
who might not have known the difference between Lepana
and Talapotichil (two Ayurvedic treatments); sections
like “The History of Ayurveda” and “FAQs” are
also there to give you the heads up. This CD-ROM
presents a wealth of knowledge right from the source, as
it was co-produced by the Department of Tourism of
Kerala, India, where Ayurveda has been practiced for
thousands of years. This CD-ROM comes complete with
English narration, full screen resolution pictures and
ambient noises to aid in meditation.
